Stair-Climbing Robot
PHYSICAL BUILD / CADBuilt for the design competition in ME213 at UH Mānoa: a stair-climbing robot, designed with a team of six to meet the class requirements on a fixed budget. It placed 2nd out of 50+ UH mechanical engineering teams.
My role sat at two levels. At the team level, I led the group and did the systems engineering — keeping the design coherent against the requirements and the budget. At the subsystem level, I owned the software and controls, implementing a BLE receiver so the robot could be driven with a PS2 controller.
The full CAD assembly (modeled in Onshape) is part of this site's roadmap: a scroll-driven exploded view of the robot is planned for a later phase, built from the same GLB export stored with this project.
